Product Qualities
Mermaid Bay Soap is economical and stays solid. They are long lasting (about 6-8 weeks) and do not turn gluggy and disappear once you start using them… in fact our only complaint has been that they last too long! All soaps are 100 plus grams and being a handmade product, they may display small imperfections to the appearance but never the quality of the product purchased unless otherwise expressed.
The soaps are great on sensitive skin. We usually find people are sensitive to commercial products and can use almost any handmade soap that is free of detergent or chemical additives. One of the most common sensitivities is to fragrances so if you are not sure, start with a mild Sensitive Skin soap and ask for a sample of a fragrant soap to try.
